I'm going to make an educated guess and say that you derived the 9psi because he basically doesn't have an ECU and hasn't upped the boost with a controller, right? If that's the case, it's not accurate. For one, stock is 9.5psi but that's trivial...it's the addition of downpipes and test pipes literally upped the boost. I ran without the aide of anything else and it jumped by 3psi with the addition of the pipes (Greg says it's normal and it makes sense). Not to mention it ran very lean with all that air and the stock program as they tend to do when you make changes like that. Of course, this is a guess...maybe he had an aftermarket gauge?
Still great numbers for just some pipes and not needing race gas (that's how I did my runs).
